A few weeks ago, I downloaded my coupon and
bought one of the new Healthy Choice BAKED meals to try; it was the Roasted
Chicken and Potatoes . As always I am a little skeptical eating frozen meals. Normally
it doesn’t look as appetizing out of the microwave as it does on the box. I was
really surprised on how would meal looked on my plate once it was done cooking.
Not only did it look pretty good, it tasted pretty good too!
To make it even better, this yummy dish that was ready in just 4 minutes only has 200 calories. Select Entrees Slow Roasted Turkey Medallions Dinner is only one dollar and
ninety-nine cents. That is a bargain low price for a Healthy frozen meal, in my
opinion. I love turkey and this menu in this dinner tempted me. It has slow
roasted turkey, gravy, maid red skinned potatoes along with a side of butternut
squash, apples and cranberries. That all sounded very well to me. This meal has
only 210 calories. It is also low in fat and fiber rich. Fantastic!

Roasted Turkey Medallions Dinner is perfect for microwave cooking
and that is how I chose to prepare it. I only had to vent the film cover over the
side dish, cook on high for three minutes, spoon gravy over turkey and potatoes
in continue cooking for two more minutes. I let this dinner stand for two
minutes before uncovering. It smelled so good! When I tasted the turkey
medallions and gravy, I loved it. The turkey is moist and tender. The gravy is
very good and I found myself in all of the fact that this meal has only 210
calories. The red skinned mashed potatoes are fabulous. The entree sort of all
runs together after stirring but, it is very good. The butternut squash mixed
with apples and cranberries are delightful. A real treat and very different. I
love squash of any kind so, I was pleased. The cranberries are right and fresh
tasting.
