Even after cleaning the window to see if it helped, the suction cups did not and leave a residue . It is very durable, thick, and took the sting out of getting into a hot car and being burned by leather seats and stirring wheel. This was a good buy. Easy to use, easy place above the dashboard, and it fold nicely with a flexible strap hold it together.
